What an amazing year we had together!  I can't believe how fast the year passed by.  Time truly flies by when you are having fun!!! We are so proud and amazed at each and every child's growth over past 10 months.  Thank you for your support and kindness this year.  Wishing you all a fun filled summer!

This week in Kinder

This week we are exploring a very important word... dad!  The students are hard at work creating special gifts for their dads!  Thank you to all who have sent in their family pictures for our craft.  If you have not sent one in, it's not too late.   Please send it in by Wednesday.

Tomorrow is Freezie Day so if your child would like one, please send in a quarter.  You can ask your child to describe a quarter and ask them pick it out of a variety of coins.  We have been learning about money so this is good practice for them.

The school BBQ is this Thursday.  The school is no longer accepting money for food but you can still buy it on Thursday.  Hope you can all come!

This Week in Kinder

We have been very busy this week in the classroom.  Our letter of the week is "i" and our word of the week is "little".  The students did a great job writing sentences using our word of the week.  They are becoming such great writers and even use the resources around the room to help them out.

In Math, we have been exploring money as well as symmetry.  The kids had a blast examining real and fake coins, doing coin rubs, sorting coins and playing with them.  We have future bankers here in Room 138!

Tomorrow the Grade 6 students will be selling freezies for 25 cents.  It is one freezie per student so please send in only 25 cents.

The school BBQ will be held on Thursday, June 16.  Don't forget to send in your food orders and money.
